Fourth of July 2010 was a success! with 72 boats and great people. Despite the rain, everyone partied good and enjoyed a terrific fireworks show. Thanks to my dockhands, Laurel and Vanna for their efforts.

The City Centre Marina and Holiday Inn City Centre is proudly hosting the 2nd Annual "Seize the Bay" Pirate Festival on August 14, 2010 from 10:00 am until 10 p.m. Arrrrr, ye pirate young and old, come dressed in your favorite pirate clothing and costume, enjoy international maritime music and entertainment from internet radio personality Bilgemunky will be DJ-ing pirate music from artists all over world to bring a festive pirate mood throughout the day. Tribal dance troupe, Rakhshanda will be performing to keep you dancing and moving. Starz Dance Academy kids will be performing and providing fun for the kids and culminating with international maritime musical group Bounding Main performing from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Pirate vendors and Holiday Inn will be having caribbean buffett and bar for the pirate adults.
Awards for best custome, best decorated boat and best pirate attitude. Attendance is only $2.00 !! Party with us as pirates all day.
This much anticipated event is expected alongside the Tall Ships Festival. Masts, sails, ropes and rigging as Wisconsin enjoys ships, pirates and fun! Come one, come all or be keelhauled ye landlubber scallywags!
